Bhagwati Asthan is the most famous temple in Samastipur, Bihar. It is the temple of Devi Durga and is known as Manokamna Sidhi Asthan. It is the most ancient and lively Devi Durga temple in Manipur, Samastipur.
History of the temple
It has been established in the year of 1934 AD and reconstructed in 2016. It falls under the Warisnagar block in Shekhopur village. People believe that for those who come here and bow down their heads at this temple, their wishes are fulfilled by Devi Durga.
A huge fair is held here in Durga Puja.
Attraction of this temple
A huge 51 feet Panchmukhi Lord Hanuman idol is situated here which is the main attraction center for the tourists.
